    Just started shooting last year. Yeah .... I know. :rolleyes: So take it easy on me, y'all! Been hangin' at Gilbert's in Rockville, lovin' it.

    Waiting my 7 days to pick up my first gun, a Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite. Of course, a plinker! A girl's gotta know her limitations!

    Just found MDS last week. It's been fun pokin' around, but I don't wanna be a (((lurker)))! :innocent0

    Fantastic choice on your first pistol. If I wanted a .22 pistol, it'd be that one. Ruger did a great thing with making it so easy to take apart and clean.

    Thanks! The BEST thing was how it felt in my hand. Thought about a 9mm, but I don't want to frustrate myself. Then when he showed me how to take it apart? Oh yeah! Frustration factor 0!

    You are definitely starting off right! a plinker is the perfect gun to build up your confidence and marksmanship. take your time and enjoy fun shooting... you will move on to something else whenever you feel ready.
