I have a Romanian Tokarev that I picked up a few years ago and I see that Classic has a special price on Yugo's for $199. I have not had a purchase in some time because of the house but I am getting the itch for a C&R purchase.

I have been a little skeptical of Classic over the past 1.5 years or so but its one site that is not blocked at work :)
    Anyone order one of these?

I got one of his "Gunsmith Special" Yugos that "had almost no bluing left" for I think $185. When I got it I found it mechanically OK and the victim of holster wear. He now has P64s (really non-functioning) at $50 and $25 that would be good for parts if one were inclined to go that way.

Pretty sure those are $50 or $25 off the standard price (so still $200+) rather than a flat $50 or $25 each.

Classic will have a few Swiss Lugers Model 1906 and 1929 available today at 12:00pm (15 mins). Looks like prices are starting at $1999. Don't know much about the going price for these, but they appear to be in great shape. I know classic tends to overcharge, but I'm sure someone will buy em.

I'm not a Luger guy but they all appear to be refurb/refinished.
The trigger and some small parts should be straw-colored, etc.
The bluing just doesn't look right for original finish either but maybe it's just the pics.
Add in an import mark and uncertainty of matching parts ... nerp, take a pass.
I'm not sure I buy into the "one of the rarest and most desirable of all Luger model pistols" either :)
Most collectors would much rather have a nice Krieghoff, etc

They do look a little too nice.

I passed as well, but it is an opportunity to purchase if someone was lookin.

Something from Classic half reasonable? Shocking.

I guess sales are finally sagging. The video said they are going to be showing 15 rifles a day and selling only from that batch until they're gone, so you see at least passingly what your are buying.

Dag, they are still in stock and my license is now on file so I guess I'll FO

ETA: Meh, if they are still in stock I guess the price is still a little too high, lol

I got in on this also and just picked it up today. Opened it just to take a peak and it looks really clean. Ordered an extra mag separately and they threw it in the box for so it was all free shipping. Really easy to deal with!

Make sure to field strip and really go over the bore, mine had a lot of crusty junk in it that took a while to clean, but it was minty underneath.
Lot of goop inside frame etc too.
Some subtle design differences from a TT33 or TTC.

One of the smoothest deals with a vendor, nice folks.
I'll have to fire up the trusty steed and take a trip down there sometime.
