Not that I want to give them ideas, but here is an easy way to make temporary transfers simple. Less then 2 calendar days, or the duration of a legitimate life threatening emergency, is a temporary transfer.

Done. Buddy wants to borrow a rifle in the field while we are deer hunting and give it back at the end of the day, fine. Shooting on my property and I want to go take a leak, fine. Want to let my neighbor borrow a couple of rifles to take to the range to try out, A OK.

I'm not willing to put a noose around my neck with the assurance from politicians that they won't tighten it next session.

I don't have any cake left to "compromise" with.

The thing I keep telling people is that compromise requires both sides to give something up... When have they ever *strengthened* or even *recognized* the significance of the 2A in this state? They can't call it compromise when one side just keeps taking and not giving anything...

Didn’t say it was a compromise. All I am saying is if it was “simple” that’s what it would be. 13 different scenarios where if you walk out of the room you both can go to prison for 5 years isn’t simple like Attenbery claims.
