I have this international flare signal company gun. It is big heavy and brass except for the steel barrel. it works fine but has some barrel corrosion.

I believe they were WWII US Navy issue. Does any one know more about this flare gun? What is it's collectability /Value?

Can I sell it as a single shot 37mm derringer?

It's not as collectible as others, they made a lot of them during WW2.
It's in pretty rough shape, the barrel should be blued.
There should be a "PT XXXX" on it somewhere if it was military issue.
Sell it as a flare gun that it is, no FFL required.

oh yeah, also known as the Mark 52.

It is one big honking hunk of brass.
