Thanks, I know what FOP stand for. Just not familiar with the special edition that's apparently nearly double a regular gen 2 glock.
So I did a quick search online and this is something I found that might pertain to the gen2 but again its on a forum, take it for what its worth.

George they are rare and very cool. I didn't read you forum link but it is rumored these are the first set of glocks done as a commermative edition although the desert storm issue one is more highly regarded.
That being said there is one on GunBroker that has been listed at 1K for over 4 years.
Unless you find someone like me who specifically collects them at this price it's going to be a hard sell IMO. Very very cool find but even I as a MPDC firearm collecter, who has sought after one, wouldn't drop that kind of coin.
I offered the lady on gunbroker 550 + tax and transfer.........4 years later it's still on there.
Edit: hahahaha the link says the same thing I just wasted typing up.
For the record I'm not craping on anyone here and I think the gun is AWESOME! I wish you guys nothing but luck with the sale, it would make an awesome edition to anyone's police collection.
