Well received my CZ-82 from AIM today minus the mag however it is also minus a firing pin. WTF... Sent them an email about how they would like to proceed. Anyone have to ship a gun back to AIM and have a similar issue and if so how did they handle it?

I know they are sold out and I want the gun, I have found the missing parts however I gotta buy from 2 places to get all 3 missing pieces $40.00 for pin and stop plate at one place and spring from another and when I add in shipping it will cost me another $50 to get a working gun. Guess I will see what they come up with Tuesday morning.

    That sucks man.

These places need to SLOW the hell down and make sure stuff is right before they ship it.

I recently picked up another CZ-52 at auction. It came with only one mag. Midway has extra mags on sale for $19. Don't forget to add a free shipping toy to your order for reduced or free shipping.

    http://www.midwayusa.com/product/778726/military-surplus-magazine-cz-52-762x25mm-8-round-steel-blue

I've heard mixed reviews about those mags, and I'm pretty sure they are NOT milsurp, but new manufacture. And not made by the actual CZ company, but stamped "CZ - mfg."...

Just wanted to give a heads up....

yeah, I was reading thru the review of these on Midway's site and it was a mixed bag. Seemed like most of them needed tweaking of some sort and not the same thickness metal.

or you can get the real thing, refurb'd with new spring:

Robinson Trading Post - they have bunches on Guns America and GunBroker (I think):

EDIT: Double-check that they will sell to Maryland and ship to Delaware. They may not even want to sell to Maryland regardless of shipping...

I've bought from Robinson's before. Good guns, good prices, they sent the wrong mag once, sent out a label and a new mag no problem, VERY responsive to emails/calls.

I've been talking my Swiss rifles up to my dad for months now, and he is finally going to join the club. He just got his C&R and is ordering a K31 from Simpsons LTD tomorrow (or as soon as they open this week)

I was searching for GP-11 to give him a link and suggest that he buy some, and it seems to be all but gone right now. All the ammo search engines show it OOS. I hunted and found only one place that has it, so I thought I would post a link in case anyone was looking for some.

From what Frank says, there *should* be supplies of 1993, 1994, and 1995 lots left overseas (enough for 8 more years he estimated) I hope he is right!

Simpson LTD just got a huge (550+) shipment in from Europe a few weeks ago and have been offering some very interesting guns lately - mostly pistols so far.
    Keep your eyes peeled.
One is a rare Lithuanian Hi Power, for instance.
    Lots of Hi Standards too.
Some Argentine pistols that came thru Germany... and so on.

I made my very first purchase from them last week - unfortunately not C&R - and it was smooth and painless.
    Gun was exactly as depicted.
Once it gets out of purgatory I'll post some pics 'cause it's an interesting one.

Import marks are very very small as they use a laser machine to engrave them.
On semi-autos, they try to put it on the bottom of the mag well lip so very unobtrusive.

Thanks for the heads up... I'll have to scoot over and see what they have. I had never even heard of a Lithuanian Hi Power until I saw one at an auction site I follow a few weeks ago. It hammered for over 2 grand before the buyers premium. I was intrigued, but not that intrigued....even if that was a fair price (which I have no idea).

    I'm glad that I purchased a Box-o-GP11 a few months ago.

I was snooping through my ammo chests last night, and I think I have just shy of 1,000 rounds of GP11.

About a year ago I thought I bought myself a lifetime supply (about 4 cases.) Recently I have been shooting about 100-200 rounds of GP11 a month. So now I'm down to about 2 cases again. I need to re-evaluate what a lifetime supply means :)

X2 on that. I used to try to limit my collection to just a few calibers, but I tossed that out the window long ago. Now when there is a bargain on ammo odds are I have something to consume it! Makes perfect sense to me!

I have plenty of calibers and they all get some range time.

I have added 9 mak, 7.62 tok, .30 carbine, 45LC, 38 SW, and 7.62 Nagant since I took this photo. Next on my list is probably 6.5 Swede or 303 British.
