    Shooters-
I as many of you had issues with CAI and their sign up page for my 03. I finally spoke to the right person, Brenda Hernandez. She is an account specialist, I resent her my FFL that I had sent to them origianally and heard nothing back, and with in 24 hours I had an account. She emailed me back quickly for a quick follow up contact number. I emailed her at 1530 Thursday, she emailed me at 1730 for the contact number. When I woke up at noon Friday my account was set up and waiting for me. Star B is calling my name. I told her I was active here and asked if I could spread her contact info around to ya'll, she said SURE!!. Her contact info bhernandez@centuryarms.com, send her a copy of 03FFL and a contact number and if my experience was typical you'll be shopping the next day.

She's the one who hooked me up with an account as well. If you order and don't see two $1 charges from Century on your CC, call them to see if there's any holds on your account.

I did the same thing and got the same quick attention. My question is now that I've emailed them my 03, do I have to resubmit it for every order, or do they keep it on file?

I would say atleast wait a couple of days. They just hold $1 on your card just to make sure it will go through. I never saw the $1 charges on my card. When I called Century and asked the guy, he said that it only shows up for about a day then gets removed.

Account got sent up this morning! I am disappointed though at the lack of selection of C&R guns. In the odd lots section I wonder if any of the S&W Model 10-5's are C&R eligible.

Another success, I had previously tried via both emails and calls to update my FFL expiration date. Less than 2 hours after sending Brenda an email, my account is up to date.

I FINALLY got a call from CAI about my Star B. I placed my order on September 4. They are having a website glitch that's showing a $12.95 shipping rate for all orders, which is incorrect for C&R licensees. So, they had to call to get approval for the new shipping rate but never did for whatever reason. Also, the system did not save my credit card info, so they needed that as well. It should get shipped tomorrow.

Same situation with me - I ordered on 9/5. I didn't receive a call, so I called them and provided the credit card information.

gotta say thanks for updating on this... just gave them a call from my 9/5 order and sure enough they didn't have my credit card info and they needed my approval on shipping.

    He said should ship tomorrow

I just got a second call from Gitta, my sales rep. She told me that there is no "glitch" (she claimed that the guy working customer service is new and doesn't know) and that their system has always inserted a $12.95 shipping cost as a default, which always requires CAI to contact a C$R purchaser for approval of the new cost. The reason that my credit card wasn't in the system is because it's been so long between the date I placed the order and the date that CAI finally got around to calling me to get shipping approval. She said this should not happen for subsequent orders once I'm in the system. Finally, she told me not to get too excited about shipping - she hopes that it will ship tomorrow, but it could be a few days. Oh, they also gave me a new order number. I'm not sure whether that always happens or only happened in this case because of the screw-up.
