Pre Bug Out recon

Quick video from Mike Glover of Field Craft Survival.
Worst case scenario is a walk away bug out.
I doubt anyone will do an actual recon of a bug out, or place caches of heavier items along your planned path, but he brings up some things one may not think about.

Good video

You can leave a bag or two at my place, no charge. Just across the line from Washington county two miles from the Appalachian Trail.

We used to camp year-round on an island on the Potomac River. We had caches buried all over that island. Still some there...

Didn't you tell me that Cache Island sunk during a tragic hurricane incident?

Someday someone is going to stumble across one... then there will be a reality tv series about them searching the island to find all the caches.

Amen. I'm too old to run so I'll stand and give you young guys another 5-10 second head start.

They might find a refrigerator we buried there too! It didn't run, but buried underground(coffin style), our ice lasted much longer during the summer months.
