Situation: Instead of making him a cop, I'd make him a bounty hunter and retired police officer and body guard. I like the idea of him in pursuit of a serial killer called Crazy Larry that would take him through East Los Angeles and out into a rural area or the outskirts of a national park.
I'd call it Dirty Harry, Crazy Larry
