I was trying to find a 22" Mossberg 930 JM Pro, but Bud's changed their buying policy for that item just as I had saved enough $ for it. That model was sold out elsewhere and much pricier on Gunbroker. So, I saved a few bucks and bought a Tristar G2 Viper Silver. I had a Tristar Field Cobra pump, and it was a nice shotgun, so I had hope. This shotgun actually had better reviews than the Mossberg. I picked it up Thursday, but haven't shot it yet. I did buy 2 boxes of magnum shells to break it in. The shotgun is gorgeous. Has beautiful walnut stock, nice machine work, fit and finish is excellent. Everything seems crisp and came with a box of chokes. I can't wait to shoot it. Hope it works as good as it looks.

Hog Sniper had a great deal on the JM Pro. A little late for that now, but I am not sure he still has it. OP, I hope your gun works out well for you, it looks nice. Post your review.
