Wait, are these legal in MD? I read that they weren't. I'm so confused about these ridiculous MD laws.

If true, that is indicative of the stupidity of our state government. Imagine banning by caliber. Unfortunately, I wanted the 7.62x39.

Yep. The "no go" list isn't legally binding, and is frequently incorrect. I've contacted MSP about a bevy of firearms incorrectly listed as banned. They will be reviewing the information I provided shortly.
As far as the Galil ACE is concerned, the .308 is good to go- it has a folding stock and a muzzle brake. The 7.62x39 ACE would be banned in its factory configuration; we remove the flash hider and replace it with a thread protector to be compliant with MD law- which is what ultimately matters- complying with the law, not the list.
