SOG SEAL and SEAL pup are great but don't get all wrapped up about them being the knives that the Teams get issued. They aren't. Most every guy has a number of knives (go figure) and most are personally purchased.
Alot of manufacturers will send a bunch to the SEAL and SWCC Teams to "try out" and then advertise that item as "official Navy SEAL" kit. A prime example of this is the Luminox SEAL watches.
I do have a SEAL Pup and it's my go to knife for the bush. Not too big not too small, fixed blade, sharp as a razor and pretty tough. When AD it was my survival knife. The new Kydex sheath is worth the extra cash. Get it when you buy the knife.
