Old news, but I ran across this YouTube video last night. It demonstrates how well limiting magazine capacity protects the public from "active shooters".

In summary, about the only benefit is to the professional politician garnering votes from an uninformed, frightened electorate. Hey, if it helps keep just one politician wallowing in the public trough, it's got to be worth it, doesn't it?

It was never about reducing crime...it was always about getting votes by telling voters "I did something about crime!" The fact it has never made a difference isn't important...it's always the "good first step" that matters to them. As with most leftist policies it's all symbolism over substance...but the only real substance is that the intent is to take away or at least reduce our rights since we don't agree with them.

Have you ever heard any politician or media personality talking about firearms? I almost think there must be a rule that requires the people with the least knowledge about a subject, have to be the people making public statements and laws about those subjects. Sadly, we get the government we deserve.

Limited capacity magazines put the public in greater danger of oppression, tyranny, slavery, and genocide, since they diminish the ability of privately held arms to counter the weight of government force that will be deployed to suppress or confiscate them. Period.

Anyone who says limited capacity magazines make the public safer doesn't have a clue what they're talking about.
