I've said it for years (though probably not here often), that we need a viable and vibrant Constitution Party.

We do. People need to be emboldened enough to walk away from the two party system. The Libertarian Party is not the answer as long as they run douche bags like Gary Johnson.

Juries are comprised of the same people who, on a different day every two years are voters electing our politicians.

And the jury box is supposed to be comforting?

It includes SCOTUS. SCOTUS is not immune to popular opinion. Let’s see how that goes. The only other box is the ammo box. While the Framers knew this was a possibility, I am quite sure it was to be a last resort. Let’s be patient. Revolution is ugly.

That would require getting registered voters off the republican plantation. How would you suggest going about doing that?

Splintering the underwhelming minority party further, to make two totally impotent groups isn't the answer.

Just to make it a fair fight, you need to peel people off the majority party that has 2/3 of the registered voters.

How many Democrats are pleased with the socialist push? How many Republicans are pleased with these GOP pussies? We need to find a way to make a 3rd party look viable

Nothing fair about a fight that's cause doesn't represent your beliefs. If going forward means propping up a liberal GOP, what's the point of going forward?

Simply put, unless you are proposing an authoritarian dictatorship that rules by force, you need to attract enough votes to win. Minor detail, I know.

Nothing in life is fair and it's my opinion that you won't make long term change at the ballot box either. There's way too much corruption involved in the political system. Neither of the so called parties are interested in protecting the Constitution, they're only interested in retaining power and treating the Constitution like it's always up for debate and can be changed by a simple vote among thieves in congress.

How often do you hear these politicians (and many citizens for that matter)refer to us living in a democracy? You see that's what they want you to think, that everything can change by a vote, Mob rule if you will. We live in a Constitutional Republic and until it is treated as such we will continue to allow them to vote away our freedoms for "the common good" of the majority interest.

You don't think DJT has exposed the lack of Constitutionalists/Conservatives in the GOP?

I do - or I did. But it seems President Trump is now trying to compromise and himself becoming less constitutional - unless, of course, he is using reverse psychology meaning anything The Donald wants, the Left says No. So if He says let's ban this or that - the Dems will say No Way! He's a clever one. But I am becoming skeptical. No reason to ban bump stocks and with such a ban - no grandfathering, no compensation for private property - it is unconstitutional and sets a terrible precedent for future administrations to simply come and take what they want. I think President Trump is doing good things for the economy, etc but there is no support from me for someone who is not a Constitutionalist. Sign me becoming disenchanted.
