    Hey guys,

Thought I would share a Sunday project. Picked up an old Browning takedown shotgun case and decided to make a case for one of my Colts. Turns out that with a bit of moderate modification the blocks can be rearranged to fit a standard carbine quite nicely.

They are right at $250 or so new. I picked it up from a friend for $20 because it is old and not in the best shape. Someone gave it to him. So he made out. Very nice case tho. It's a shame they don't make them purpose built for carbines from a factory.

I carry my 9mm AR pistol in an old Ruger takedown shotgun case. It will also fit my Colt 6721.

This is a hardcase that was made by Samsonite and still has the original keys. I still need to custom cut the foam for it. (Waiting to SBR it)

Nice! The only thing about mine that I don't like is the combination dials do not move. It is permanently locked on the combination somehow. Small details but it's irritating.

It's discreet enough that when I walk out of my house with it, people down the street don't immediately see a rifle. Or a case that obviously carries a rifle in it.
