I'm going to be moving soon and I want to get a very large safe for my new place. The safe I'm looking at is just over 1000 pounds. Costco delivers into your garage. Though my new place will not have a garage. In fact, the only way to get the safe where I need it is to take it up a relatively steep dirt and rock hill about 40 feet then through the backyard and into the back door. I'm only concerned about the steep hill part. My question is if that is even possible without using heavy equipment? Who can I get to move it inside for me and how much would cost?

    Thank you.

Carolina safes did a great job for me, moved my safe down around a hill and in through the door.

Plan to spend several hundred dollars for them to move it to where you want it

Normally the door comes off, lightning the load. A half dozen lengths of 3/4" water pipe and you can move it over most smooth surfaces.

    Good Luck
