    Raccoon, if cleaned correctly, is delicious. My MIL has a few possum she wants to get rid of. I'm gonna see how they taste. I like eating different animals. Lots of good stuff out there.

    Be very careful with possum.

    The best way, as I've been told by 'the old folk', is to catch them live, and control their diet for a while, to (essentially) detox the critter.

    My grandfather would, IIRC, use dog food, bread and milk for a couple weeks to get them 'clean' enough.
