    So I was thinking of putting in a dove patch this year, maybe 1/2 acre, any ideas of what I should plant and when?

    You can usually find pigeons for sale at the farmer's market in Charlotte Hall. You an also trap them pretty easily but I understand you'll need to start with very young pigeons/eggs to imprint on them that their home is wherever your pen is located. There are a lot of books on the subject.
