So I ran into some cash recently and it's burning a hole in my pocket! I was thinking about being responsible and paying down some of my credit card debt, but then I thought I could buy something fun :)

If I had $700 burning a hole in my pocket I'd get a CZ-75 P-01, or possibly a Sig sp2022 and a few extra mags or each.

Ok, I'll be the first nerd to say it. Pay down the credit card. It's not nearly as fun or glamorous but still

<edit> ok, go get you a nice shotgun if you want

I love the look of the Model 10's. Especially the 3", it just seems to look right to me. Rather a SB, though.

Certainly within your budget. Nice one in the pic. No internal lock. Guessing it might not be capable of +P rounds (not that it matters - I have a smaller Model 60, no dash, that I only run the light stuff through).

You also have enough for a used 686, if similarly appealing.

Btw, if looking at more than revolvers (of which nice used Smiths are in your range as are new Rugers), you also have enough money for the following ...

-VZ5008, with plenty of ammo (Engage seems to be getting them in)
    -Mini 14
-Mini 30 (but the VZ5008 is currently a much better deal)
-Beretta CX4 Storm (or a HiPoint or KelTec pistol cartridge carbine)
-Rossi 92 lever guns (in 357 mag, 44 mag, 45 LC, etc)
-some of the Henry lever guns (22LR for sure, but larger calibers if one hunts for sales can be around $750)
    -HK VP9 as mentioned upthread
    -Walther PPQ or P99AS
-Mossberg MVP Patrol/Scout in 7.62/308 (bolt action)
-CZ 527 in 7.62x39 (these are sporadically available)
-a nice, pump 12-Gauge (Mossberg 590, Remington 870, Belini SuperNova)
-lots of different complete uppers (in 5.56, 300 BLK, 6.8 SPC, etc)

OK. You win. I can't argue with any of these. Hell, makes me want to start digging into the sofa cushions and add a couple of these to the stable!
