This is the third one I've tried, and it has the proper focus distance to work.

what information are you gaining by looking in the bore? When would you need to use this? If the gun shoots well does it matter? Just curious why I would need one. I have thought about buying one before but didn't feel it was justified.

I've got one, cheap Chinese model "Endoscope HD1200P"
Flexible cable makes it good for many things. I've even fished it down into the sink traps and the toilet to check for obstructions.

It's a good way to keep track of throat and gas port erosion. I don't think it's something that most people would be using super frequently, but when you need one, you need one.

Also a good way to tell if your cleaning regimen is working. Carbon rings being one of the main things of interest.

Oddly enough, the first one I bought was when I was sick and curious to see what was going on in my throat. Had some swelling and such.

It's got a mirror that screws on the end. That's what I used to take that video.

Next plan is to use it to line up gas blocks.

I just ordered one. Gas blocks are pretty much the only thing on my list, and it looks like this will work for them.

Yeah, watch the video. It has a cap that with an angled mirror that screws on and lets you do 90 degree views. That's what I used to take the video.

Got mine yesterday. Works very well and certainly worth the $50 for all the information it provides.

Also useful when drilling into walls. Small hole allows me to clear behind to make sure I'm not going to hit a pipe or cable.
