Looks great. I hope there is a second batch released to the CMP. What was you RGN? I have a ways to go. My RGN is 17557.

What was your RGN and what grades were you offered? My RGN is just under 8500 so I am hoping they get a lot of returns.

my number was high 6900's. They had all three grades. Didn't feel comfortable choosing a rack grade but I had heard the field grades were looking good so I took a chance...

scratch

That scratch would really bother me! I would have to take it to the range for some 230gr punishment!

fyi.....they are calling and shipping to numbers in the low 8000's (8300?)

There was a theory they started numbering at 1000 so people with up to low 9000 may be good...

Geez, that poor Remington UMC is a mess.
The 1913 mfg isn't much better
I'm perplexed by the C-prefix 1948 mfg that's parkerized... it's a commercial Government Model (not a 1911-A1 as listed) with several arsenal rework stamps.
Nevertheless I bet they all sell for stupid big money.
