My approval took 10 working days and another 5 working days for it to show up in the mail.
Just be patient....and may as well work on your MD collectors stamp too

A question regarding this, for someone who is applying for HQL, can he successfully apply for a collector's permit at the same time? I was told yesterday at a shop that you have to get HQL, buy one gun first, then they will approve you for collector's permit, because you can't be deemed a collector without having at lasat one gun. Is that how it works?

Buy a stripped AR lower so you have one regulated firearm in your name. Then submit for MDC.

Anyone use the texas hunter safety course recently, is it still being accepted as of 2/2018??
I just directed my friend to take the THSC online tonight $29+$6 fee for 17+
Great to see much faster processing times compared to the 30 days I dealt with in 2016

I applied last week (Wednesday) and checked online today and it said Active with my license number. I haven't seen the card yet in the mail.
