    I'd put that $650 toward a Scorpion if you want a 9mm carbine. That Marlin is basically a collectors item.

    Unfortunately $550 to $650 is market for a Camp 9, usually you see crazy I don't want to really sell it pricing beyond that. Pricing is worse than the Ruger PC carbines. Unless you are hung up on one for aesthetics or nostalgia there are better options available in the current market.

    One has been on my list for a long time if I ever find one at the right price, wish I had snagged one back in the 90s when you could get one at any Walmart.

    The few I have seen in the last couple of years didn't last long at $750.
    If you get one, especially a Camp 45, you should replace the buffers with Black Jack buffers to save the stock from splitting at the receiver. I also installed Wolf higher power springs in mine fro reliability issues. Cheap upgrades.

    You are probably closer the mark, last Camp .45 I saw was around $900.

    A just right carbine or similar would probably be a better value, unless the OP is set on that Marlin style.
