Early Teal

Looking to go early Teal hunting this September.

Question, and I am sure this has been answered before. What is the process for me to get hunting certified in Maryland? I saw a course I could take online, but to complete the process, I needed a "field day".

Where do I do all of this?

Also, will I need to complete this process every year?

Hunter Education is a one time thing. Here is a link for the DNR page for Hunter Education classes. http://dnr.maryland.gov/nrp/Pages/hunter_education_classes.aspx . If you have a hunter education certificate from another state, that will probably be enough for your certification.

Just passed the online training.

Have an appointment for the field day on sept 2nd

You better also read up on the blind site lottery, if you plan on hunting with a boat on the tidal water anywhere.
