Went to Hap Baker for the first time in two and a half years today and there were empty rifle lanes!! I don't think I've ever seen empty one there before. Does this happen often these days?

I usually go twice a month always on Wednesday when they first open. Usually by 1 there are a lot of open lanes on both ranges. Waiting for July 1st so I can get my years membership.
I mostly go on the weekends. Rifle lanes are usually packed and the picnic tables full of shooters waiting. I don't even take my rifles there.

If you go during the weekday, when most people are working, it's usually pretty empty. I only ever shoot pistol because I feel like rifle there is a hassle, but the most I've seen on rifle on weekdays is 5 lanes being used.

It's usually pretty dead on the weekdays, I've never seen more than 4 or 5 other folks there when I go.
Gee, what's more important, going to work or shooting?
