    You're not from the Rio Grande by any chance are you?

    How bad is your arthritis? I lost my grandma to it, but she had severe arthritis and was still able to do her daily routine (for a long LONG time) with the high quality treatment she received in France (free too!).

    There's some good solid options now a day.

    Right now it’s manageable. Unfortunately I’ve got it from my neck to my toes.
    I just had my left hand thumb joint operated on. Right now my hand is in a cast.

    I had back surgery 5 years ago for arthritis and a couple other issues. Not going through that again.

    It will only get worse with age.

    I’ve had a few options suggested, but opioids are NOT in my future.

    I gave up my motorcycles because it wasn’t fun anymore. It hurt to work the clutch and front brake levers. And getting off after riding 20 miles, I walked like an old man until I could straighten up.

    I just mark it up to getting old, and genetics plays a part too.

    Thanks for asking.

    Welcome from Southern Maryland!

    Like the screen-name/handle. :thumbsup::thumbsup:

    I had thought about using: grayhairedoldfartthatlikesguns, but, I figured it would be too long to fit "in the window".

    There's a GREAT bunch of guys here.

    Enjoy!

    Welcome aboard!
    Quite a few older guys with Arthritis and shoulder or hand issues in MDS that can suggest ways to get around it. It really sucks about giving up bikes, I hope it doesn't stop you from shooting.
