How long for MSP to accept HGP payment?

    I applied for my MD carry permit last Thursday and sent a $75 money order in that same day, but I checked the MSP licensing portal toay and it's still saying they haven't received the payment yet. How long did it take you guys to have your payment accepted? Should I be concerned?

    Misery loves company. I submitted mine on Thursday last week as well. Sent check in next day.

    I FINALLY got my application accepted today! Does the 90 days start from when I submitted pending payment on 10/29/20 or does it start today 11/9/20?

    I think I'm a day behind you, so hopefully I see mine accepted tomorrow. My guess is it's probably 90 days from today.

    I got mine in about a week ahead of you and just had my interview.

    I sent my $75 in on the 15th of October. My application was passed about the middle of November. The last step, where I get interviewed, has yet to occur. I did get an email from them saying they've assigned my interview to another officer. That was on the 23rd of November.

    Still waiting.

    10/29-mailed fee
    Week of 11/9, I learned several checks, including the MSP fee, I had mailed were not received. I had used one of those mail chutes in my office building.
    11/10-resent check
    11/23-MSP emailed shortage due to photo incorrect size. Not sure how this happened as I used passport photo app. I re-did it using different app: Passport Photo- ID Photo App
    11/23-Application accepted
    12/15-Background Investigator assigned (AOII Ashley Thoren)

    Anyone else annoyed by the constantly expiring passwords?

    Submitted and sent payment :10/29/20

    Application shortages which were fixed and the application was accepted: 11/09/20

    Assigned to an investigator: 12/01/20

    Call from the investigator: 12/08/20

    I was told they have until 02/09/21 to make a final determination.

    As far as the questions, they asked about drug use, criminal activity, alcohol use, any prescription meds, and the reasoning for your permit. It was a 6 minute phone call and quite easy to be honest. As of today (12/10/20) my references still have not been called, but I will try to update when they have been.
