    I was just recently turned on to this website by a friend. I am new to the gun world - not a serious collector or shooter but recently decided to start buying some guns before Uncle Sam decides I can't.

    I am a retired Submariner and now work for the Dept of Navy and co-own and captain an over-6 charter boat on the Bay.

    I live in Northern Calvert and purchased my first AR, a Rock River LAR-15, from Fred's in White Plains last week.

    You could fit what I know about guns on the head of a pin and hope to learn a little on here.
