Recommendation for Scope For AR15

Hello all,
I'm looking for a scope for my Bushmaster AR15. I will primarily be doing plinking and maybe some hunting. Budget is around $200. Thanks! :party29:

I have a nikon P223 3-9 and i love it, My buddy runs a Bushnell that is very similar and he likes that.

Try looking at Nikon Pro-staff. cheap(affordable) with a BDC reticle.

if you want a 1-4x24 look at the Bushnell BTR-1 BDC

its a nice scope, First focal plane, when zoomed at 1x the reticle looks like a red dot, at 4x it is a halo with a 100 yard drop indicator

I have a Nikon Buckmaster on my RRA Target AR. 20" Target Barrel.
Works well.

On my RRA AR10 I have a Trijicon scope. Now that is a nice piece of glass.

Redfield makes a decent scope. I believe they are Leupold's budget line.

I was looking at an NcStar tactical Mark III 3-9x42, anybody have any experience with these? Seems like a lot of people like the Nikon.

NcStar has a poor reputation. I would avoid them. If you want a good budget option, look to Primary Arms.

I recently bought a UTG/Leapers MilDot 4-16X44 for my Colt. It's pretty decent glass for $140. It comes with the med profile rings, but I had to get the high profile rings, so I didn't have to add a riser. I like the scope a lot, it's well built and not a piece of junk. It's a fairly long scope, however. Check it out on Amazon.

i have this on my AR, crisp view, true 1x, and its pretty bright at 4x.
