The /1\ stamp, and horizontal stock and handguard serials on Soviet Sks45s are no longer associated with the DDR. The stamp is now attributed to the Soviet repair facility , 41st Central ABV, Irkutsk, Russia.

Yes it was, or at least Red Jacket made one like it. I liked to watch that show before all the mess with the owner's daughter and all.
That whole SKS Gatling gun was a huge disappointment for me. The Red Jacket show promoted the episode like they were going to build an actual Gatling gun from scratch. If you ever saw a cutaway of an original Gatling gun, you will recognize that there are marvels of engineering involved. Red Jacket even tried to build it and failed. They ended up just building the multi-SKS contraption. It was very much a let-down. For me, it was their "jump the shark" moment. I never watched them with the same eyes again after that.
