Back in the day before fancy annealing machines, I probably made a couple of thousand cartridges from 30-06 and they were all annealed using a torch and dark room method. I made 7.65 Argentine, 6.5, 7 and 8mm Mauser and a few others I can't remember and they lasted a reasonable time. Of course I also used to fire form my home made cartridges with 10 grains of bullseye and a case full of corn meal if I didn't load them up with the required bullet. (mostly for the full and semi autos)

Loaded 100 rounds of 40sw. Well not actually me, but an eager new reloader that I'm imparting my knowledge too. I love teaching when students are motivated and hands on training is invaluable with things like distractions, documentation, adjustments, and overall comfort level of the student to gain confidence in what they are doing. I've probably given them close to $1000 in equipment and components to kickstart and I can already see them falling into the black hole of becoming a consummate reloader.

    38 spl 358/105 SWC

Loaded up some 38 spl reloads using winchester spps, clays powder, and a powder coated range scrap cast lee 358/105 SWC. The lime green color and truncated nose makes it look like a crayon :)

Restocked the powder shelf. I got really lucky with timing and picked up a lot of powder at Sportsman's Warehouse in Chambersburg PA ( with some help from friends due to the 2 item limit). Prices were within $2 per can of pre- covid prices. CFE223, Titegroup, Lever Revolution, H335, & IMR4064. Most everything that i like. I think I'm good for now....

I put this mount on my Ruger Mark 2. I use my reloading bench for other things.

If you need a smallish group of reloading things like primers, powder, brass, bullets i can spare some to get you started on the new press whenever that is.

    Implemented my green new deal.
Switched to powder coating my 9mm cast to green. We will see if this lasts me till the end of this month.

Found a bit of 38 spl blanks in a wet tumbled batch of brass. They looked like normal 38 spl cases, but they were headstamped 38 spl blk, and have an enlarged flash hole, which i heard is a total no-go for conventional reloads. Lucky I caught it before it hits the range! Experiencing this, I now sort all my decapped cases through case trays.

Not sure I’ve seen a 500 S&W sitting next to a 9mm, but looking at that COAL that really puts it in to perspective how fooking big 500S&W is!

I have LOTS of .38 Special brass if you need any. (Offer is to Guzma393 as thanks for multiple good barters)
