Just bought my first Savage (Mod 93 hvy bll 22 mag). Is anyone familar with the AccuTrigger on the Savage rimfires? Are they the same trigger that is on the centerfire Savage rifles?

I guess there aren't any Savage fans out there.

I recently had a chance to take it out and shoot it. Nice smooth trigger pull adjusted down to 2.5 lb

After taking a good look at how the center trigger blocks the sear, this is one safe trigger system.

This statement does not infer that i support Bass Pro Shops, but when i was there I did see on the gun counter one of these trigger models. It was a very smooth pull and i really liked how you could adjust it with what looked like an allen key. However i did not like the way it cocked, the safety was very tough, and I wasn't to fond of the center part of the actual trigger and how it sprang out.

Thanks Redneck17. I did find out that the centerfire triggers are different than the rimfire even though they are both labeled Accutrigger.
