Their automated "support" form defaults to the following text. I have to be honest, this text makes me want to vomit. It's filled with misleading BS wording and fallacies.

I am deeply concerned by the rise in mass shootings across America and want to make sure we Marylanders do all that we can to keep the most dangerous weapons out of the hands of dangerous people.

Some of the solutions being presented make a great deal of sense, such as a ban on military-like assault weapons. Why on Earth do regular citizens need guns that are meant to inflict so much damage in such little time? I also think it is essential that all gun owners be licensed and all purchasers go through a criminal background check.

I like what I'm reading in the Firearms Safety Act of 2013 (SB 281) and urge you to give it your full support.

    Thank you,

Most of the sources on their site point to the John's Hopkin's Bloomberg School of Health... lol.

The text can easily be changed. I used their handy tool to send:

I am deeply concerned by the rise in criminal gun violence across America and want to make sure we Marylanders do all that we can to keep the most dangerous weapons out of the hands of criminals.

Most of the solutions being presented make a no sense, such as a ban on military-like assault weapons. Why on Earth should regular citizens be banned guns that so common, as well as useful for sport and self defense? I also think it is unconstitutional that all gun owners be licensed and unnecessary all purchasers go through a criminal background check.

I dislike what I'm reading in the Firearms Safety Act of 2013 (SB 281) and urge you to oppose it.

    Thank you,

Still needed editing. I guess I missed a few.
