I don't take into consideration the opinion of most of the people I know, why would I want to take some millennial metrosexual's opinion whose closest brush with country living is when he stepped around a plopper in Central Park from one of the horse carriages

I grew up listening to country music in the 80s and 90s and I can't stand to turn on a country station these days. If it weren't for Pandora I probably wouldn't listen to any music these days.

I have gotten into more of the "Texas Country" lately with guys like Jason Boland, Wade Bowen, Reckless Kelley and Stoney LaRue. Their music atleast seems more genuine and still sounds country to me. They don't get much if any playing time on the country stations so most people around here aren't familiar with them.

Does the term CINO exist yet? (Country in name only)

Amen to that. The only music I have paid for recently has been Aaron Watson, Jason Boland and Stoney LaRue as well.

Same here. Real country music hasn't been on mainstream stations for well over a decade. Every now and then I give it another try and very quickly tune back out. To me, it's idiotic and unlistenable.

Yeah, Florida Georgia Line plays the theme song for his radio show and they have a weekly concert series.

Are they the ones who did that horrible crap?

I am SO sick of his god awful, tacky, screeching theme song. He's been needing a new one for years.

I hurry to turn it down every time he plays it.

I wonder if/when Hannity will dump them from his radio show???

I personally doubt that he will. I seem to remember them kind of coming out against police officers a while back. I don't remember the exact situation, but I thought that he would dump them then, but of course he didn't.

At least it beats the previous song, "Independence Day" by Martina McBride. I am sure that while some people liked the part that was played, they don't know all the lyrics or the story in them.

They are in it for the money! They are doing what their handlers, PR people, producers and sponsors are telling them to do. They want to appeal to the crowd that will give them the most $$$. Right now its the suburban millennial mom that knows nothing and wants gun control. Personally I hate FL/GA Line and I can't stand that song Hannity uses for his intro. As for the other fella, I never heard of him.

Hannity plays it? Not after he hears about this from his viewers, I bet.

Someone should call Sean Hannity's Radio show and tell him to drop your shitty music. God, please may Hannity stop playing FL/GA Line as his intro. "This is how we roll...." sounds sooo stupid.

Honestly, these people will never learn to just stay the hell out of politics. They live in a bubble of security guards and high end everything, compared to us peons. You know, us peons who buy their music and tickets to their shows. Well not anymore. I used to love Eric Church. Not now...he can shove it.

My father had records of country music, more like cowboy music, that he would listen to. I still have those records and listen to them. You will not hear that music on country radio stations today. Country music today is little more than rebranded R&B. They are targeting the tweenie bopper, they don't care about us. We are hasbeens, they want the younger crowd that will provide them a fan base for way more years than we can. Unfortunately, the younger crowd is less interested in gun rights or actually any rights that they might have. Its really up to us to change that.
