Well, at my club, I put up a sheet of black fabric screen on the 4x4 roof support closest to where I am shooting. All my brass hits the screen and falls down. If I don't use it, my downloaded brass only goes a couple of feet to the right. I do this with the hard to find cases like .32 ACP, 9x18 and, when I owned them, TT33 and CZ52.

About the CZ52. Back in the '70's when I got my first one, the soviet ammo supposedly was for the PPsh and threw brass to hell and gone! :sad20: Later, we learned to make cases out of 5.56 cases (using expensive custom RCBS dies) :eek:and didn't want to loose our brass. We used to put a 15x20 painters tarp about 15 feet at our 4 o'clock position to catch the brass. ;) I'm sure glad I don't own those things anymore. ( my eyes couldn't see the front sight anymore anyway.

I love my CZ52 and TTC pistols, but the brass launches into next week no matter how I load the ammo. I would be bummed if I had to sell them.

On Target seemed anal about making sure everything was inside the lane and not sticking out at all. Guess the Fire Marshall was in there recently.
I was going to lay out a painter's cloth in my area, but thought they would have a problem with it so I left it in the bag.
The result was that most of my brass was not recovered on this trip.
Brass catchers are in the budget next month for this and my SKS. I was thinking of a catcher that fits on the hand for pistol brass. Not sure if anyone here has tried them. Looks like there is one that would work nicely for the P-64. It may not work so well on a larger framed pistol based on some of the reviews I read.

As a random internet stranger let me add that I have a set of Polish Iron grips too, also got them on ebay.

    They help with the snappiness.

SON OF A WITCH with a capital B . Order the grips tracking on EBay said its due on the 25th . Went to the range tonight and didn't make it to 50 before I said Uncle get home and the grips are here. Installed and it does feel better in my hand. Testing will commence next range trip
