SO I have spent the past 3 hours trying to get my DL photos to be verified by Simplex only to be rejected several times due to several factors. I have reached the conclusion that Bitcoin sucks. It should not be this hard to get money into my wallet to donate. I am very close to just paying with a credit card. Are there any Bitcoin people here that have the secret "easy method"?

You could do coinbase instead, though I recommend the following as exchanges are not the best way to buy and hold crypto. Some banks won’t let you buy crypto and exchanges are vulnerable to attack. Your personal wallet never will be.

-Download Edge Wallet on your phone.
-Set up a Bitcoin Cash wallet with Edge
-Write down your private keys and keep them somewhere safe!
-Use this to find a Bitcoin ATM near you https://coinatmradar.com/
-Take some cash with you and follow the steps on the machine.
-In your wallet on edge, pick the BCH wallet and press “Receive.” You should be able to get a QR code. The ATM will scan it and get the address to it. Buy your BCH. It should be instantaneous.
-Once it’s in your wallet, you can send it to the address in this link. You’ll press on your BCH wallet then press “Send”. Scan the QR code with your phone or if you’re using your phone for this, copy and paste the BCH address from this link: https://freedom.bitcoin.com/defdist/

Donating with Bitcoin Cash doubles your donation, since it’s being matched 1:1 by Bitcoin.com. Donating in regular Bitcoin or via credit card doesn’t do this.

This guy found an ATM identical to the one I use:

    And here’s how Edge works

I also recommend starting with a few bucks just to get used to the process.

Thanks for the info DC-W. I might have to use edge. I was trying to use the recommended wallet. I appreciate the information. The 1:1 donation is why I want to use Bitcoin. I am tech savvy but I was ready to throw a brick through my screen this morning when I kept getting my photos rejected. I was on my PC trying to make it happen. I will take a second stab at it today. Thanks again!

I had problems trying to verify with a photo of an ID and solved it by scanning instead.

This has been amazing. People learning that they can make their own guns by a host of different methods and learning how to use cryptocurrency. Just fantastic stuff.

The timer has run out for the fundraiser, but the donation link still works and DD has plenty of patches left. Really want to know what Contract Y will be and want to continue making all these state AGs miserable!

I’ll be drawing names and sending books and patches to those who have said they donated. Thanks to all who contributed!

I am very curious to see what contract Y is as well. I presume that we will find out very soon. I am very impressed at the amount of money that was able to be raised in such a short amount of time in regards to what was once a "not so well known" topic. I still have yet to contribute any amount of cash outside of some patches. Still waiting on a nice check to come rolling in. Gotta love the self employed life. Cad draftsman/designer at that. Just one more reason why this particular issue attracts my attention. I am now very curious about cryptocurrency. I signed it off up until now. I have read a little bit about it in the past and I saw some of the advantages. Time to dive in.

Rab1515.... it would not accept my scans! I went through Coinbase instead. I had a couple of friends give it the thumbs up and I got situated in about 15 minutes. Easy Peasy. It had no problem accepting the same scans that I submitted to Bitcoin wallet.

Beware that Bitcoin (BTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) are not the same crypto. BCH is the one being matched 1:1.
Both represent financial freedom! Fed manipulated paper be damned!

I'm looking for some Black Cats, Roman Candles, Lady Fingers, Buzz Buddles, Snicker Bombs, Church Burners, Finger Blasters, Whistling Bungholes or Spleen Splitters.

If you don't have them, I will take some Honky Lighters, Husker Du's or Husker Don'ts.

But snakes and sparklers ARE the good stuff.:lol2:

Yeah, but he didn't finish it because it was "too hard." Maybe he should have started with something simpler than a MAC-10.

You would think. I don't know how this guy got the bright idea of building a MAC but he sure did make it hard on himself. If he HAD finished it, I would not want to be standing anywhere close to him when he pulled the trigger for the first time. Thinning of the herd by natural selection.

He literally could google Phillip Luty, spend a few bucks at Home Depot and get further.

Good article from St. George News. It's a quick read and well worth your time.

Those who have gradually awakened to the growing disconnect between our government and the citizenry come to realize that our fantasy about living in a free society doesn’t quite square with reality. Sure, there are less free places in the world but what’s so great about being the healthiest patient on life support?
