Processing some files I found at the archives yesterday for my website. Thought this was an interesting one. So thought I'd share.

This one was in a folder dealing with negotiations between Chief of Ordnance, British Purchasing Commission and Remington over leasing and moving all the tooling from RIA to Remington for their contract with the Brits.

One neat letter was a memo of Remington complaining that RIA didn't want to give up their tooling because it would interfere with their production capabilities of machine guns or barrels, I'd have to check. And they couldn't start the contract until RIA gave it up.

Not surprising honestly but still neat to see it on paper.

    Enjoy!
