There are SIX pro-gun bills that are still alive:

HB 1656, Cole, private and religious schools can have armed school security officers.

HB 2253, Pogge, State Police must issue non-resident CHPs in a timely manner.

HB 2548, Rush, makes sure that information on a person who has had their firearm rights restored is place in VCIN so that information is available to officers in the field 24/7.

SB 1012, Chase, allows fire and EMS personnel with CHPs to carry everywhere they go while ON DUTY ONLY. They often arrive at dangerous locations before the police get there.

SB 1024, Black, Church Carry. Changes nothing for churches that wish to ban or restrict guns, but makes it easier for churches that want to allow carry.

SB 1179, Stuart, allows military personnel who are domiciled in Virginia, but stationed outside of the state, to get a resident CHP using the same court they would use if they were back in Virginia.
