Years ago, friend took me to a range in Glen Burnie, that rented Thompson submachine gun.

For the life of me, I can't recall the name or location of the range.

Is it still open and what is the name?

    Thanks

Wanted to go there this morning but they don't open till 12:30 so On Target was next on the list. Select Fire was pretty good the last time I was there. Guy working the counter was cordial.

Select Fire is not a popular gunshop on this forum. I wasn't sure I remembered the reason and I looked back at old threads. Back in 2008 they didn't allow cell phones because they said they triggered their alarms. People didn't like the people behind the counter.

Then around 2013 the shop changed hands. I'm not sure if it was the old owner or the new owner threatened legal action for the Select Fire threads. That thread went on for 41 pages or so.

More pages than I want to read.

Select Fire is on Holsum Way off Ritchie Hwy near the old Glen Burnie Mall. I have no issues with this place. Staff is a bit hard to deal with but I don't go there to make friends. It's closest range to me and I go there to shoot. Go in, let'em check out your stuff, get a lane, and go in and shoot.

I find On Target way too crowded. All lanes are full most times I've been there. I go to Select Fire right at 12:30 and I am usually only 1 or 2 of us shooting.
