Has anyone been out there recently? The website says only shotguns (no slugs) are allowed. Is this rule enforced or even still active?

Also, how exactly do you get there? If I'm heading west on Hampshire Rd/7-13, I make a right onto 826 and it's about a mile up?

the rule is definitely enforced. the whole firing line has be removed of all benches, shotgun rests put in for unused guns, and two concrete pads poured for shooting clays.

the berms have been dozed over and the place has nothing but shotgun hulls on the ground. no rifle casings at all.

also, no buckshot I think the sign reads. I forgot to take pics last time I was up there.

Dammit. So no pistols, either. I really wanted to go there to shoot.

Don't be to excited about it.
Last time I was there it was like the wild west. I went before the restrictions and I had guns pointed at me left and right.

It is nice and quite if you can get there alone but when it is busy it can be dangerous!

I was hoping it would be a quiet, out of the way place to shoot. I guess everyone else thought the same thing.
