    Mother Trucker.
    Can't stand this.
I have yet to get hql.
    I refuse to get hql!
It's not about the money or the class. I'd pay 5x the cost not to have to get it.
I have a dd214, so can go right ahead and get it *if I wanted without the time suck of the class, so that's not it.
I'm against it in principal for several reasons.
    1. it's a tax
    2. it's not their business what I own
    3. and most important. It's an infringement.

They'll never be able to tell when you built it and I doubt they will be able to ban the pre existing guns they don't know about.

The can follow Commiefornias model and require you to get a serial number and register the gun.
    It already happened over there.

I often watch california videos as they seem to predict our future

Hopefully, we band together and prevent them from passing their laws.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.......as long as it has a serial number so the government can track it.

They can ban anything, they just can’t confiscate. That I know of, DE doesn’t have any kind of list like MD has even of regular modern firearms with serial numbers. Even at that, the number of 80%’s of a population of a small state like DE probably wouldn’t fill the trunk of a Yugo.

    They are tilting at windmills.

Imagine if russia/china/iran asked us to give them a list and probable location of weapons that the US military has stored for potential needed use.

No different than registration of a gun.

That just means that its easier to pass another infringement with less resistance because "it does not affect me".

It's the boil the frog slow thing that they overstepped in Virginia. They could have done it easily there if they went with their long game like they do here. Look how well their results work. CA, NY just to name a few.

    It's really this>>
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

This is true, but the line that's missing for all of members here:

Then they came for me- and were met with overwhelming, withering firepower.

    This.

I can pay my fee and get my HQL tomorrow (or whenever the MSP feels like getting around to processing it)

But I refuse to do so for the above stated reasons

No, I wasn’t saying it doesn’t affect me, I was saying this:
    This is what is stupid

They are going to ban something they don't know exists, can't track, and can be easily gotten around?

Why waste time with this crap?

It does affect me, - all of us. Any infringement affects us all.

Another case of laws for nonsense based on emotion and not logic. Seems to be the way all legislation is heading everywhere

    Like every gun law

Scary looking black guns are bad, but less scary looking wood stock guns are okay.

Suppressors are bad...because....Congress will get back to you as soon as they think up a reason

HBAR Rifls that handle heat better and allow more prolonged shooting will be safer!

10 round mags only! But you can have 900 of them

None of this stuff makes any logical sense

Have you ever had anyone in a club come and check the legality of your firearm? Didn't think so. ;)

True as long as they never go to a range where others are or neighbors and so-called friends know nothing about them and cash has been used for all transactions. I feel it's unlikely but concerning all the same

In the world of freedom vs felony. Most will want to keep their freedom.

Full auto (without gov permission) is a felony just like an unregistered 80% if this law passes.

Would you take an "illegal" full auto rifle to the range and use it openly? If the answer is no the I don't see why you'd bring out an 80% you built as either one catches you a felony unless you can vouch for 100% of the people at that range and the staff and you know that a Le officer isn't there.
