10/22 takedown

I was up at the Happ Baker range waiting with some folks and they told me their 10/22 takedown model was a piece of crap. Parts were falling off of it and awful quality control type problems within a month of getting it.

I always like the idea of it, and was surprised to hear that a Ruger product would have those kind of issues. But, that what they told me and showed me.

I have one and it's a great little firearm. No issues at all. Even shoots golden bullets and thunderbolts!

I have a TD. Shot multiple Appleseeds with it. No issue at all. Very accurate. I have thousands of rounds through it and it is still working in perfect order.

I think I saw a take down in the Magpul Hunter stock at Top Gun in Fallston last week. They could certainly order one if it's not in the store.

The TD makes a threaded model. No issues with the takedowns I have shot. Some folks talk about things they have no clue on how to maintain. I have seen folks do things and shake my head going "why are you doing that?"
