Interesting Marking/Typo on my M39

Pictures to come soon or whenever I get a non-blurry picture
On my M39 there is a typo by the importer. On the front of the barrel by the sight blade it says "98/22 8mm Czecho" and "CAI Georgia VT". It doesn't say M39 Finland 7.62 x 54R anywhere.

I have mis-marked importer stamps on several of my Mosins. No big deal-unless it's in your favor and a seller doesn't really know what he has

I recently got a non-C&R, made in the '70s, shipped to me with no importer stamp at all. Ordinarily, I would have thought it was a bring-back, but I know that this one was brought in by an importer. Trust me ... I'm not disappointed!

I have sold a few Mosins where the importer missed the import markings, funny thing is that no one was willing to pay a premium for such items.

Here are some pictures, kind of hard to get them to come out. It is built on an antique receiver too.

That's a nice '41!! It's about 7-8000 after the straight stocks range, so you have a nice, correct stock. I think you'll definitely enjoy it :thumbsup:

I would, depending on the firearm. I don't like billboards.
