If I can make it, are these guns okay to bring?

.22 LR Ruger Single Six, Winchester 74 with 'scope, Marlin 60

    .380 ACP FÉG PMK-380

.45 ACP Marlin 45 Camp Carbine

.36 cal. Whitney Navy (Palmetto Arms repro)

.44 cal. 1860 Colt Army (Pietta repro)

.50 cal. 1857 Smith artillery carbine (Navy Arms repro)

.58 cal. 1864 Springfield rifle musket (Navy Arms repro)

I'm not likely to bring all of them, I just want to know if they'd all be okay.

Hold up. If you are uncomfortable with drawing from a holster or don't have one, you can shoot from low ready. You must shoot .22 from low ready. We don't want folks not showing for a holster. If you are going to shoot regularly you should get with the program eventually, but we don't want to scare off newcomers.

yes unless you are shooting rimfire

Hokay, looks like the Ruger is the best choice for me, and I do have a crossdraw holster for it. Oh, wow, "speed and accuracy"... well, as long as y'all promise to hold your laughter until I'm done shooting, I guess I can try my best. :D

More of a friendly get together that a no holds barred match. I felt the same way last month and ended up really enjoying myself. Who knows, you might be surprised how well you do.

How much ammo is required, and how many stages?

Someone correct me if I'm offbase....

Typically there are 4 different scenario's with 5 plates. You shoot each scenario 5 times. If you hit every plate you will shoot 25 rounds per scenario for a total of 100 rounds. Add to that 100 rounds based on your skill set to determine how much ammo you will need. I would say 200 or so rounds should be plenty for most.
