I'm driving up to OH in the near future and was thinking I might as well stop at a local PA Sheriff's Dept and apply for a non-resident permit IF that is still possible. I heard the law changed, but various Google search results are showing me conflicting/confusing info.

I do not possess a MD W&C. I do possess a Utah non-resident CCW, as well as a Colorado resident CCW because I lived there till 2016. However, as of January 2017 my driver's license is Maryland. I surrendered my CO driver's license when I switched over.

    Any options?

    Thanks!

You must have a MD permit first if you’re a MD resident.

HRDWRK’s link is the best source of info.

PA is open carry without a permit (don’t do this in Philly though) and you may conceal while in your vehicle (only!) since you have other valid permits.

Don't believe the various Google searches. PA no longer recognizes Utah non-res and to get a PA non-res you must have a permit from your home state.

I guess you'll be OCing in PA. And if the cops harass you then you can tell them its all because of the AG's stupidity.

Same here. Sucks big time. At least folks with MD resident permits can get a PA non-res. The rest of us are SOL.

I love PA but what ever happened to them , are they turning into a liberal hang out .
It is sad to see the changes over the last couple years .
