    I found this 1955 Smith & Wesson sales circular while cleaning up some old magazines. It's a good reference for the classic S & W handguns. As a price reference, my dad bought a new Ford Fairlane Crown Victoria coupe for $2200 in 1955.

    Wouldn't it be great to go back to those days......take a hot tub time machine back with a pocket full of money, buy 'em and come back to today?

    **** wow that’s so cool! Thank you for sharing! I have several S&W revolvers and I paid a lot more for them!!! Given average income back then, those guns were not cheap! I think my dad told me he only made like $1700 a year back in the late 50’s He made even less once he joined the service (Army).

    If I could go back in time with some cash I probably wouldn’t buy guns.. I’d buy land! They stopped making that stuff some time ago!!
