25+ years ago someone gave me a generic cardboard box with about 100 loose rounds of 9mm ball in it, said they were unsure of shooting it as they didn't know if it was corrosive or not.
Came across it recently having forgot I even had it, I've never shot any of it.
Can anyone here ID this head-stamp and speculate whether or not it's corrosive?
I have no clue as to the age, bullet weight or manufacturer.
The primers are crimped and sealed.

    Thanks!
    That is very close.
Appreciate the quick response and link.
Still curious if corrosive or not
    Anyone else have additional info?

They will fire, but that purple gunk with muck up your pistol/rifle in short order. You will start having FTFire, due to the gunk building up in the firing pin channels of your slide. That stuff mucked up a Ruger P89 many years ago. Had to take starting fluid to it to clean out the damn slide.

Friend gave me some 8x57 he said he was afraid to shoot because it was "mildly" corrosive. I told him I'd shoot it and clean my rifle with "mildly" hot soap and water.
It's corrosive or it's not. LOL
