Does anyone have experience with the Garmin unit with Applied Ballistics software? This seems like an interesting product but at $500, it's a bit pricey, although it's a gps with lots of features.

They just released a new one that’s even better but it $1300

I’m think that either the Strelock or Ballistic AE developers might want to incorporate the Apple Watch. Applied Ballistics could as they have an Iphone App too but I suspect they get better license royalties from Garmin, Kestrel and other companies which integrate their data.

Strelok Pro already integrates with the Apple Watch.

    Not sure about AB.

The Garmin is a very specific solution for a niche problem. Most shooters are way better off with a Kestrel and a HUD.

This is good info. Strelock is pretty good but I personally like Ballistic AE better. However if Strelock now has Apple Watch integration, and it done well, I may actually consider getting an Apple Watch

As for Kestrel I really think they did a great job integrating AB into the 5700. In my opinion at some point spending money on the things that help you get on target faster is money well spent.
