    I've had the ti-rant for some time and I have pistons for the 1911 and the Beretta 92.
    I want to mount the suppressor on my 9mm AR, but
    1. the threading on the 9mm barrel is not 1/2x28. (i think it is 1/2x36) and
    2. from what I have read, since AR barrels do not move when fired like most pistols do, I don't need to use a piston adapter for the 9mm AR.

    Anyone please correct me where I have misinformation.

    No piston (you should use a spacer tho)

    I have a 9mm carbine thats 5/8x24, others that are 1/2x28. So could be that or 1/2x36.

    If you need a fixed barrel spacer or trilug for the TiRant, my NFA dealer dealer had some made:

    Not sure if anyone else still has any left from before AAC went belly up and the brand was sold off to JJE (Owner of Palmetto State Armory).

    Anyway your best bet would likely be to get the trilug adapter and run your 9mm AR with a trilug mount.

    i had to look it up. Its a cmmg barrel, and the threads are 1/2x36. I need a piston and spacer. Too bad I can't seem to find both from one company. LoL
