  • Just bought an Eternal bp-12 Fri and right out the box it FTF it doesn't even dimple the primer out of the 5 or 10 rd mags I even tried to manually load a round and still FTF. going to call the manufacturer tomorrow but was wondering if anyone had any experience with this gun, pic for shits and giggles.

    No familiar with them. What type of safety does it have? You didn't happen to have that on by chance? I did that back when Marlin started with those foolish crossbolt safeties, hammer will fall but nothing happens (aside from me being highly annoyed and a bit embarrassed).

    Correct length shells?

    Did you clean the bolt? Might have excess oil or grease in the firing pin channel.

    Dutch has a good point. Good cleaning may be all that it needs, after you get a better wrench to take it down.

    I have had bolts gummed up which did that.

    It is not getting off to a good start. Sorry for all the hassles.

    Send it back and insist on one that was torqued properly and will allow routine maintenance. If they cannot accommodate that request, get a refund and buy something else.

    alos don't they recommend high brass loads for the first 30 or so shots to get it broken in. The turkish mag feds are a little tempermental out of the box.
